Product Description
The Xiaomi Wi-Fi Range Extender AX1500 helps expand your existing wireless network into areas where the signal is weak or unreliable. It uses Wi-Fi 6 technology to deliver a combined theoretical dual-band wireless speed of up to 1501Mbps, making it suitable for streaming, gaming, video calls and everyday browsing.
The 2.4GHz band provides speeds of up to 300Mbps with broad coverage, while the 5GHz band delivers speeds of up to 1201Mbps for faster, more demanding connections. Dual-band SmartLink can switch frequencies if the connection to the main router’s current band is interrupted, helping maintain more reliable network access.
EasyMesh and Xiaomi Mesh support allow the extender to form part of a compatible whole-home Mesh network. Connected devices can automatically switch to the strongest available Mesh node as you move between rooms, providing smoother and more consistent coverage.
Two high-gain, dual-polarised omnidirectional antennas improve signal transmission and reception. Beamforming technology directs the Wi-Fi signal towards connected devices such as smartphones and laptops for a stronger, more focused connection.
Gigabit Ethernet Connectivity
The built-in Gigabit Ethernet port allows you to connect wired devices such as smart TVs, desktop computers, set-top boxes and gaming consoles directly to the network.
When used in Access Point mode, the extender connects to your router using an Ethernet cable and converts the wired connection into a wireless network.
Simple Setup and Smart Placement
The Xiaomi Wi-Fi Range Extender AX1500 can be configured and managed using the Xiaomi Home app on Android or iOS.
Its colour-coded signal indicator helps you identify a suitable position for the extender. For optimal performance, place it between your router and the Wi-Fi dead zone rather than directly inside the area with no signal.
