Products & Stock

Are your items in stock?

All of our items are in stock with us at our warehouse in Cape Town, unless the item is marked as 'Sold Out' on the product detail page.

Can you give me more information about a product?

Do you offer cellphone contracts?

We don't offer cellphones on contract, however you can buy any of our products (including cellphones) on credit using Mobicred, please click heret o find out more about paying with Mobicred.

When will the item I want be back in stock?

We try to ensure we never sell out of your favourite items, but we do sell out from time to time, if there is a particular item you are looking to purchase please contact us on 087 152 0222 or email us at info@smartphoneshop.co.za and we will get back to you with estimated arrival dates.

Do your products come with a South African plug?

Yes, all our products come with an EU plug (which is the same plug we use in South Africa), unless stated otherwise on the product detail page.

Do your products work in English?

All our products are sold in their global / english variants, will work in English and will come with and English manual, unless stated otherwise on the product detail page.

Ordering

How do I place an order?

We are an online storeonly, so we do not have a physical store and orders are dispatched to your desired delivery address from our warehouse. To place an order, you simply need to navigate to the item you would like to purchase on our online store.

Once you have found the item (or items) that you wish to purchase, you will need to click the 'Add to Cart' button to add the item/s to your cart. Once you have added all the items you wish to purchase to your shopping cart, you will need to select 'Checkout' in your shopping cart, which will redirect you to our secure checkout process in order for you to fill in your delivery details and complete your payment.

How do I pay for my order?

During the checkout process you will be prompted to select a method of payment, you can pay using your credit card (via Paygate, Payfast or Peach Payments), Debit Card (via Paygate, Payfast or Peach Payments), Zapper or Bank Transfer (EFT).

If you select Bank Transfer you will receive our banking details after you complete your purchase, please let us know if you don't receive our banking details by emailing info@smartphoneshop.co.za.

Can I make changes to my order after I have placed it?

Yes! As long as your order has not been dispatched yet, you can make changes to your order. Please contact us on 087 152 0222 or info@smartphoneshop.co.zaand we will assist you.

How do I cancel an order?

Why have you cancelled my order?

We will never cancel your order without prior communication. If we have cancelled your order it is most likely that your order was unpaid after multiple payment reminders (for EFT orders).

Delivery

How much does delivery cost?

We have a flat rate for delivery cost of R100 nationwide. FREE for orders over R1500.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Orders are packed and dispatched within 1 business day of your payment being confirmed. Delivery times vary based on your location, for main centres delivery will take 1 - 3 business days, for outlying areas delivery will take 2 - 5 business days and for international orders delivery will take 7 - 10 business days.

Can I collect my order?

Unfortunately, we do not offer collections, however our delivery is fast and efficient, all orders are dispatched within 1 working day and delivery to main centres can take as little as one day.

We also offer overnight delivery to main centres, you can select overnight delivery as your delivery method during checkout at an additional cost.

Which delivery providers do you use?

We work hand in hand with multiple courier partners to ensure fast and efficient delivery. Our courier partners for South Africa include Courier It, The Courier Guy and Dawn Wing.

For orders outside of South Africa we use DHL.

Can I select a specific time and day for my delivery?

We can't arrange for delivery at an exact time and date, however you will receive tracking updates while your order is with our courier partner, so you'll know when delivery is imminent.

Can I change my delivery address after I have ordered?

Yes you can, as long as your order has not been dispatched yet, please contact us on 087 152 0222or email us at info@smartphoneshop.co.za and we will assist you.

Can I order for delivery outside of South Africa?

Yes you can, we deliver outside of South Africa with DHL and delivery costs are calculated during the checkout process.

Please note that your country of delivery may charge you import duties and tax, which will be payable by you before delivery takes place.

Returns

Can I return an item I purchased online?

Yes, you can return an item for a full refund within 7 days of delivery as long as the item is unused and in original packaging. Faulty items can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery.

After 30 days, we will support the balance of the product's original manufacturer warranty.

How do I return an item I purchased?
