Xiaomi Mi A3 smartphone runs on Android v9.0 (Pie) operating system. The phone is powered by Octa core (2 GHz, Quad core, Kryo 260 + 1.8 GHz, Quad core, Kryo 260) processor. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 Chipset. It has 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage.
Xiaomi adopted the glass-sandwich formula with shiny metal rails surrounding the Mi A3, which makes the phone feel far more expensive than it actually is. The camera bump has expanded to include a third sensor, and the flash now resides just outside of the camera assembly, sitting flush underneath the rear glass. Both the volume rocker and power button reside on the right side, with the dual SIM/microSD card tray on the left. The headphone port and IR blaster sit on the top, and the USB-C port and speaker grille are on the bottom. The front is pretty clean with thin bezels, the 6.01-inch display, a waterdrop notch, and a selfie camera.
Xiaomi Mi A3 smartphone has a Super AMOLED display. It measures 153.4 mm x 71.85 mm x 8.4 mm and weighs 173.8 grams. The screen has a resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels and 283 ppi pixel density. It has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and screen-to-body ratio of 82.15 %. On camera front, the buyers get a 32 MP Front Camera and on the rear, there's an 48MP + 8MP + 2MP camera with features like Fixed Focus. It is backed by a 4030 mAh battery.
The Mi A3 has a 6.08-inch Super AMOLED display with a dot notch up top. It’s a beautiful panel that boasts of bright, vibrant colors that are a pretty extraordinary feat in this price segment. This also enables the device to opt for an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Mi A3 is powered by a Snapdragon 600 series chipset, the Snapdragon 665 to be more specific. This is an octa-core chipset fabricated at 11nm and is a little more powerful than the SD660.
That is paired with the Adreno 610 GPU and up to 6GB of RAM which combined with stock Android are sure to provide a consistent and fluid experience. As a part of Google’s Android One program, the Mi A3 runs a clean build of Android and is first in line for future version updates. Currently, it is on Android 9 Pie and will soon be updated to Android 10.
Photography has always been a strength of the Mi A series, and with the A3, Xiaomi is bringing much-needed upgrades to the camera package. We get a triple camera setup on the rear with a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera uses a 32MP sensor.
